About S. R. Watkins
Dr. S. R. Watkins, BBA, Th.B, DPM, Ph.D., is a distinguished entrepreneur and educator who has dedicated a profound 40-year career to enriching lives through spiritual and professional growth. His commitment to this mission is unwavering, evidenced by his Ph.D. in Ministerial Studies, earned through his seminal work “Biblical Economics 101: Living Under God’s Financial Blessings.” In addition to his Ph.D, Dr. Watkins has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Doctorate in Practical Ministry (Leadership).
At the core of Dr. Watkins’ mission is a deep-seated commitment to serving others. His teachings in biblical economics, excellence training, and Christian business principles are not just theoretical, but are designed to empower individuals and organizations in practical ways. As a Financial/Operational Pastor, Dr. Watkins leverages his strategic planning and business consulting skills to guide his clients toward sustainable success. His extensive expertise has been shared with a wide range of entities, including entrepreneurial ventures, marketplace ministries, churches, and charitable organizations.Dr. Watkins’ business acumen is evident in his ownership and management of a half dozen businesses during his career. His influence extends internationally as he teaches and hosts conferences, particularly in Rwanda, in partnership with Compassion Canada. Among his literary contributions are the four-volume “Life is a Test – A Daily Dose of Wisdom & Spiritual Insights” series and “Miracle Mornings: 31 Days of Declarations and Devotions.” He will be writing and publishing more books in the future.
A licensed minister of the Gospel with Eagle World-Wide Ministries in Hamilton, Ontario, Dr. Watkins is also commissioned by the Global Spheres Centre in Corinth, Texas, as a Business Apostle, Deliverance Minister, and Christian Author. His leadership and commitment to spiritual and community development are reflected in his memberships with the Global Council of Nations, the Global Transformation Project, the Canadian and International Coalition of Apostolic Leaders, the International Society of Deliverance Ministers, and the Calgary Christian Connect Group. Dr. Watkins’ life work is a testament to his unwavering devotion to uplifting others through faith and leadership.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Watkins is an active individual with diverse interests, hobbies and volunteerism. He enjoys swimming, hiking, camping, skiing, fitness, fine dining, gardening, rodeos, chuckwagon racing, and collecting antiques and Western art. His love for learning is evident as he reads one or two books a week! He is a Life Member and past President (5 terms) of the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies.
